InfoPass - Western New York Libraries Access Program
InfoPass is a service that provides DYC students, faculty and staff borrowing privileges at other local academic libraries and lender institutions. This service can be extremely useful to researchers in need of materials that are not available at the Library, and who cannot wait those for materials to be retrieved through the Library's interlibrary loan service.
- DYC students, faculty and staff may register for an Infopass at the Circulation Desk, located on the 2nd floor of the Library.
- InfoPasses cannot be issued over the telephone or online.
- InfoPasses are available only to currently-registered DYC students whose Library account is in good standing.
- InfoPasses are only valid for the current semester. Students must apply for a new InfoPass each semester.
NOTE: DYC researchers borrowing materials from other lender institutions with the InfoPass are solely responsible for those materials.
- Researchers must adhere to each individual lender institution's rules, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Library fines accumulated with use of the InfoPass are payable to the lending institutions only.
- Researchers with outstanding InfoPass library fines will be prevented from registering for classes at DYC, and will be unable to obtain any official DYC transcripts until those fines have been paid.
