The Montante Family Library at D'Youville is the ideal research destination for students, faculty, and staff searching for access to research tools, materials, and professional instruction.

Announcement regarding library resources during COVID19 response

The library's 2nd and 3rd floors (and all public desks) are currently closed, but the 1st floor computer lab and 4th floor study spaces remain open 24/7. There are many ways that the Library can meet your research needs remotely during this time.


Research Services/Librarian Consultations

Due to the COVID-19 Outbreak, the Montante Family Library Research librarians will be working Remotely until further notice.


Research assistance is available Monday - Friday 8-4 and by appointment. Please email or call the Research Desk at, or 716-829-7747. We will get back to you as soon as possible. Online Materials

Our research databases are fully searchable from off-campus.


Renewal of Physical Items

All materials checked out of the Library can be renewed remotely by calling (716 829-7618) or emailing ( the Circulation Desk.

Overdue fees or fines that accumulate during this time will be waived after the materials are returned.


Embedded Librarian Program

Embedded librarians will remain available to help with your research and library resource needs through Canvas or via email.
